In this scene, I realized a thing or two.

First:

How Gino is truly and deeply in love with Mikay. No guy would do that, no guy would try something that is beyond his power. He tried to be a Dasho, though he failed, still you can see his effort. He talked to the King man to man that he would do anything to get Areeyah out of the Deal, out of the stupid Law, so that she could be with someone she wants to be with in the future. I am amazed by him, because no matter how bad the situation is.. he’s still there, still fighting for Areeyah’s heart. Well, you know what? I think that… wait, no scratch that.. I know that he shouldn’t fight for Areeyah’s heart anymore. It’s ALREADY HIS. The revelation of him being a Dasho really shook all of us, in the first place we shouldn’t be surprised, we’ve already speculated this a long time ago. We know by heart that he is a PRINCE, because he treated Areeyah as a PRINCESS long before they found out that she is ONE.

Second:

I realized that Areeyah is IN LOVE with Gino too. Look at the way she looks at him while Gino is having his 5 minutes moment with Areeyah. There’s something about that look, a look of longing, sadness, but then there’s a touch of hope. That’s when I realized that she is IN LOVE. I tried to make sense out of it again, wanting to make sure that what I’m seeing is right but then after a few minutes I finally agreed with my own thoughts… The way she nods and smiles at his confessions, mga banat, and plans, it’s like she wanted it to happen. It’s like she wanted him to save her. Because She wanted to be saved not by the Prince but by her Knight. Gino has always been her Knight, but we all witnessed that anytime He could be a Prince too. But to Areeyah, he’ll always be Her Knight, Her Savior. The Abangan showed that Gino wanted to take Areeyah back to the Philippines, but she chose to stay because of the responsibilities, if Areeyah is a selfish person she would gladly accept Gino’s offer with no second thought, but she isn’t, she isn’t selfish. And for me, that’s how a Princess should be.

Unrelated to the pic:

To Jao, I think that he finally realized that Areeyah is somewhat in love with Gino. He promised that he would do anything to win and when he does he’ll face the Drukpah’s and tell them that he wants to set Areeyah free from the law. That he would not marry her, unless she wanted the marriage herself. I think that’s a huge sacrifice for him. He love Areeyah so much, if somehow he won the competition Areeyah would finally be his, but instead of thinking and choosing this, he chose what would make Her happy. For me Jao is good for Areeyah, his love is Pure, he’ll always be good for her. But he would not make her happy, Gino will.

these are the three things that I realized… it may be a little confusing but to me it’s full of sense. Now I can finally say “The Princess and Gino”… I’ve completed the tag line. :) I’m so happy. MiGi ang ENDGAME. :’) pero kung ayaw niyo pa din maniwala, eto na lang ang basahin niyo…
